The Beddoes connection
It turns out dog grooming has been associated with the Beddoes name for a long time.
These pictures are from an article in Picture Post on 23 March 1940, reviewing a London dog grooming business called the Dog’s Bath Club. It was started by Major Beddoes.

I don’t know how closely we’re actually related… but it’s a fun fact.
